Please note: you must be 18 years or older for all Admissions services.

URGENT UPDATE - Due to an unprecedented number of animals currently in our care, the Hawaiian Humane Society will not be accepting walk-in owner-surrenders without an appointment .

Please note that if you have found or lost a pet, you may walk in during business hours to file a lost or found report or walk through to reclaim your pet. No appointment necessary.

Wednesday - Sunday: 11am-6pm

7/4 (Independence Day): CLOSED

1/1 (New Year's Day): CLOSED

Appointments: We accept appointments scheduled no less than 24 hours in advance. Please arrive on time for your appointment and plan to spend at least an hour with us if you are relinquishing a pet. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be served as a walk-in, following other scheduled appointments. If you wish to schedule an appointment for a cat trap and spay/neuter services, you may do so through the Ginny Tiu Community Spay/Neuter Center.*
Walk-ins - Same Day Appointments: Limited walk-in services may be available but are not guaranteed. These will be assisted after scheduled appointments, and in the order of sign up on our virtual Waitlist. You can sign up on the virtual Waitlist at the time of your arrival. We will only be accepting emergency walk-in appointments, stray services, lost & found services & microchipping.

From 5pm to 11am, Admissions is available for emergency calls only at 808-356-2250.
