Aloha, Welcome to Hawaiian Humane's Adoption Center.

Our Mōʻiliʻili Adoptions Center is open to the public. Due to the high volume of guests, we ask that you limit your visit to 30 minutes unless you are in the adoptions queue.

A photo ID is required at the time of all adoptions.

After you have browsed our adoptable pets and are ready to adopt or have identified a pet you want to meet, follow the signage and scan the QR code to join our virtual waitlist. You’ll be added to the queue on a first-come, first-served basis to visit with an adoptions representative and meet your new best friend. Please be sure to join the queue at least 30 minutes before we close (5:30pm) so that we are able to serve you. Please be aware that all last minute adoptions must be started by 5:30pm.

Personal Pets on Campus: for the safety of your pets and the available pets on our campus, personal pets are not allowed in the adoption center houses and dog walking areas. If you are bringing your dog for a meet and greet, they must remain near the front Adoptions Desk and must be on leash at all times. Your pet cannot be left unattended at any time during your visit, so if you wish to visit our adoptions center we ask that a member of your party wait with your pet at the front desk during your visit. Please Note: Adoptions staff members and volunteers are not able to watch personal pets during your visit. If you do not have a party member available to watch your pet during your visit, you will be asked to wait with your pet at the adoptions center front desk till the time of your meet and greet appointment. Please note that meet and greets are by appointment only and should be made prior to your visit to our campus.



Waitlist - Same Day Appointment Rules:
Your appointment will be cancelled if we are unable to reach you within 5-minutes of your designated time. If you receive a no-show alert, you will need to rejoin the waitlist and remain in queue for the next available representative.
