February update: New mobile apps, Apple Wallet integration & more

Following a well-needed break over the Holidays, we are now back at building and improving the Waitwhile platform. We have a ton of new, innovative updates on the horizon for 2025 - some of which are already available for you to experience.

Waitwhile's mobile apps are here

Our refreshed mobile apps for iOS and Android deliver a smoother, faster experience with full support for Waitwhile 3.0. Any updates to the web app will automatically apply to the mobile version, ensuring seamless functionality across device

Add bookings to Apple Wallet

Customers can now save their bookings to Apple Wallet with a simple tap! Enable an “Add to Apple Wallet” button in emails and on the booking confirmation page for quick access, location-based reminders, and a seamless branded experience. Now available for iOS (Apple Wallet), with Google Wallet support coming soon!

Introducing Schedules for availability management

Schedules is a dedicated page that allows admins to define one-off and recurring availability for resources and services. A simpler, centralized way to manage staff and service hours.

Enable push notifications while using Waitwhile

In-app push notifications keep you updated on actions taken by other users while using the platform.
This ensures you never miss important updates, no matter where in the product you are.

Here are a few more things we've worked on as of lately:


• API improvements: We’ve published a guide outlining the technical requirements and security constraints for connecting to our API. This provides a useful reference for developers and IT administrators when setting up new infrastructure or troubleshooting connections. Read more.
• Localization of business terms: Added more localization options for your business terms in Location settings 3.0. Update from Location settings > Localization > Business terms.
• Bulk action support: Added support for bulk actions for services and resources in Location settings 3.0. Try it at Location settings > Services and Location settings > Resources.
• Filter by Labels in Analytics: Added an easy-to-access filter for Labels in Analytics.
• Validation pattern for Customer ID: Added the ability to set a validation pattern for Customer ID (require a certain text input). Access it from Location settings > Customer details > Customer ID.
